what are you looking for? the 1300 should be setup with a front bead and a shallow groove on the receiver. kinda like an oversized v-groove site
yeah ist got a slight groove...i just picked this up basicly for free from a friend....got a pistol grip only so im going to get a stock, wanted to put a sight on that I dont have to have a smith do.
ok after looking at it i see what both you guys mean...replace the front bead sight, use the existing groove.....sometime i cant see the forest for the trees....thanks guys
n/p
with a pistol grip only, you cant shoulder the gun and really see how it works easily.

Try Advantage Tactical Sight's universal shotgun sight --advantagetactical.com. It has really worked for me on my Rem. 870. I was a little skeptical at first because the concept was so different. But once I stalled it, and it was easy to install, it was fantastic. I hit targets with slugs at 100 yards. It is also the fastest iron sight I've ever experienced on a shotgun. It's just quicker than any conventional sight or ghost ring type. Another friend who has one on his shotgun actually shoots clay with it. The only down side is that you have to remove the front sight before you install the Advantage Tactical mount. Once you do that you can install their mount in about 30 seconds.
