Something I've always wondered, never researched, and never could remember to ask about:
Which bow manufacturer is the biggest in the world, meaning most sales in all countries combined?And how about he United States alone? Then for anyone who knows, by what margin to the next company in line?
I am kind of catching the longbow bug. I like the idea that a fellow can set up a target in his backyard and practice shooting daily without irritating the neighbors. Also, the traditional wooden shafts, iron broadheads and blunts, and turkey feather fletching offer some really interesting DIY crafting opportunities. As for a reasonably priced starting point, I have not a clue.

Back when I bow hunted and shot quite a bit (70's - 80's) I would have said Bear, Ben Pearson, and Browning. Tons of others have entered the market these days and make the bows I owned looked almost pre-historic.
