Uts-15 bullpup pump action shotgun

I ran across this on another forum, and didn't see anything posted here on it. The UTS-15 is made of carbon fiber, it's a dual tube design like the KSG, it holds 15 (14+1) rounds, it has a selector lever to switch tubes like the KSG, but unlike the KSG the UTS-15 can also alternate between tubes automatically, so it's not necessary to stop and manually flip a lever to switch tubes. It's built in Turkey by UTAS, but rumor has it that it may be brought to the USA for production. Shoots 2- 3/4" and 3" shells.

I think I personally prefer the overall styling of the KSG over the UTS-15,(the stock on the UTS-15 looks too blocky IMO, although the carbon fiber looks nice) but if they started manufacturing these in the US, the competion might bring pricing down.:)

.....and the Kel Tec, and subsequently this UTS15, are both based on this design:

A little parallel innovation isn't a bad thing.

Yeah, to bad the BATFE doesn't allow the Neostead to be imported

It looks like the UTS-15 ejects the shell out the right side(instead of out the bottom like the KSG) which wouldn't favor the left handed shooter, also the dual feed tubes are above the barell instead of below the barrel...

Here is another link to some of the specs on the UTS-15, for anyone that may be interested...UTS-15 SPECIFICATIONS
It also would not be CA legal, while the KSG, with Kel-Tec's decision to require manual switching between tubes, does not run afoul of CA's magazine restrictions.

Using CF on a gun... quite expensive!
Man, with, all the excitement over the Keltec KSG, I thought the UTAS UTS-15 would generate a little more of a buzz good or bad...

I just hope the rumors are true, and the UTS-15 does go into production in the US, having another Bullpup shotgun available on the market (whether it ends up being better than the KSG or not) is still a good thing!
