Spooled!
Ok anyways, double defence, in short this shotgun is awesome. Yes there is debades as for SxS being less effective as a HD choice shotgun. Nevertheless its still a shotgun and one well placed shot is all it will take to stop a intruder cold. If youre not confident and knoleged in firing and operating your weapon of choice, practice. This is my first SxS shotgun so I will admit my reload times are less than satisfactory. In the event that I may face a intruder though I honestly would not hesitate to grab this shotgun to defend my life and property.
The breakover is smooth and the weapon is solid made. On brass loads it operates flawlessly, steel loads not so good. It takes more effort to breakover due to exspansion and puts more pressure on the extractor. The factory bead picks up light well. The rails may be assinine to some or most but pair up a small red dot and surefire and it makes this all the better for HD. Ported barrels to their job and keep you from rising. First time out with this shotgun I have a 870 and Norinco. Firing off all three with the same loads Rem. 3" mag 00 and Rem. 3" #4 this shotgun was the loudest and kicked the hardest. Shot placement from the hip was also very easy.
If you let both of these shots lose on a intruder and you miss, I garentee that person at the very least will need a change of drawrs.
Winchester, also a good shotgun. Never used it but messed with it at the show. O/U guns will have a closer spread than SxS due to barrel orientation.
just my lil review and $.02.
