stevens 311 model H 12G shotgun

I got to shoot it today and thought it was really neat. Did some buckshot, birdshot and slugs. It has side by side barrels and one trigger in front of the other. Saftey comes on after you shoot like auto saftey. I got the serial number B085696. It was bought 30 years ago and hadn't been shot till today. How old is it and what's the value? I can pick it up for 150.

Are you sure it's not a model 311 series H? I've never heard of a 313, not saying that there isn't such a gun. As far as price goes, it's all about the condition it's in, obviously it fires, because you said you shot it today, but you didn't mention if there were any cracks in the stock, or what the finish/blueing looked like, or if there were any signs of rust/ pitting etc. Best thing to do is throw up some pics, I'm sure one of the guru's on this forum could give you an idea. As far as age goes I'm not sure... It's gotta be at least 30 yrs old...lol
Good luck!

Yes it a 311. The barrel doesn't mention chambering for 3" either. Wood was great and the blueing was nice and even. Gun was friggin clean..
If it's that clean I'd would say your getting a good deal at 150.00. I've seen them sell for 300. in that kind of shape... I'm pretty sure they are only chambered for 2 3/4" shells. Good luck on your purchase, & post up some pics if you buy it, I' d be interested in seeing it! Good luck!
