Here's a 1922 Model 12...

Original buttplate!

This gun was beadblasted and reblued because it sat in a corner and became rusted & pitted on the barrel; a shame!

Got if for $325 about 5-6 years ago. It is a 26" cylinder choke.

Got another one!

I picked up another one today, this one is a 1924 with a 32" barrel.

Original buttplate is very nice...

Love the early ones with the slim stock!

Beautiful.
I've got a Model 12 that was my grandfather's. I'll take some pics of it tomorrow when I'm back home.

I'd love to take it down, bead blast it, and re blue the barrel, metal parts.

Occasionally I'll take it out and use it to splatter some water in jugs for a little stress relief. Still works like a brand new shotty, and it's got some history that's been forgotten in the sands of time. I expect to give it to my son some day a long long time from now.
welcome to the boards.
hey thunderbird, what part of mo you in? you coming to the shoot on 19 oct?

Bought mine about 2 years ago. Took a picture of it next to my Browning Mod 12 28 gauge for comparison. Looked up the serial # and if correct , it was made in early May of '48. Dad's birthday is May 3, 1948. I couldn't think of a better birthday gift for him and he agreed.....LOL...
