I need some Info. from Someone that know's more than I do about Shotgun Choke's and use of Buck Shot ?

I have a 16 Gage Model 12 Pump that I have a Cutts Choke mounted on it made by the Lyman Co. and have an Improved choke add on Fitting on it ,what is You're opinion on using #1 Buck Shot in it, and is there a danger of of barrel failure if I do?

Thanks for You're Information.

I don't see any reason to not shoot buck shot unless your barrel is rifled which I wouldn't think it would be. Depending on what you are planning to shoot with the #1 buck shot would determine which choke to use. For self defense I would use modified or improved cylinder, if hunting deer you might want to use the full choke. There aren't many 16 ga guns still around, hope you have a good ammo supply.
