Shipping a shotgun

Hello all, I have a question I hope someone can answer. I am thinking about selling a shotgun. I know when shipping a hand gun I either have to go thru Fed Ex or UPS. I was told once that long guns can be shipped via USPS. Is this true? thanks. Dave

Very true. I have used Priority Mail. I enclose a FFL file copy to the dealer it is going to, if it is going out of state.
