I have a Winchester Model 1893 which is a black powder 12 gauge with a 2 1/2 inch chamber. However, the proof marks show it was proofed in Great Britain for smokeless powder and 2 3/4 inch shells. The gun sticks to the rear whenever I shuck the action. Does anyone know a gun smith who works on a Model 1893?
