I saw a new 887 nitro mag for sale at a nearby store for $250 with rebates and I am wondering whether or not I should get one. I am looking for a reliable shotgun but really have no preference over whether its semi or pump. I have seen a lot of bad reviews about the nitro mag, saying it goes off when loading a shell and such, but I would like to know if anyone on here has had problems like that with one they bought. I tried to search the forums a few times but basically came up with nada so it would be great to get some advice. Also the sale only lasts till the end of saturday so it would be great to get some quick help. Thanks guys!

without elaborating from everything I've heard, and read, it does not get my vote, spend the extra 40-60$ and get an 870
I would rather have a tactical 870 with mag extension if I was going to get another Remington, but I really like Benelli. But you could get two 870's for the price of one Benelli.
Thanks for the advice guys I decided not to get it. I still have yet to decide what shotgun I'm going to get, but a Benelli does sound very nice but pricey. I'm not sure about the 870 because my brother has one, but I'll look into getting something else cheap too.
