Howdy All! New to the forum here, looks like a great forum. I don't have much history with shotguns. I have a Browning Auto5 I inherited from my Grand Father and that's it until today. I picked up a 12gauge SxS marked J. Stevens Arms Company, Model 335 serial number is A12379. I need to know if some body can tell me what year this gun was made and if it's safe to fire modern ammo in? It's a 2 3/4" chamber. Under the barrels is a letter "V" and on the barrels is a letter "B". That's about all I know about it. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I would like to go shot it this weekend but I want to know it's safe first.
