Anyone know of any stocks that have a pistol grip (like you see on the military 870 MCS guns) that will take the Remington Supercell recoil pad? I want to get a pistol/stock combo because I really like the hand position much better. However I've become real attached to the Supercell pad. It is the only good recoil pad I've found that doesn't catch on my clothes. Limbsavers and the like grab clothing quite badly.

So, any suggestions for a stock to get? Remington won't sell they MCS stocks, they say they are for "LE and military only".

I'd rather have the shur shot stock that remington sells than the MCS stock anyways. It looks like the super cell pad wouldn't fit the MCS stock from the pics. I could be wrong though. The cheapo ATI stock looks much like the MCS stock, and might accept the super cell pad. The shur shot stock remington sells is more comfortable than the ATI, and it comes with the super cell pad. I have it on my deer gun, and I wouldn't consider changing it.

I have the Mesa Tactical LEO (a M4 SOPMOD style) with the Endine Buffer on my 870. It has the M4 slip-on rubber butt-pad mounted on it. It works great and I have never had a problem with it.

I had a hard time finding an adapter for my 870. I wanted to keep the factory stock angle. Most adapters change the stock angle to near 180° for use with optics. I went with this: TACTICAL STOCK ADAPTER for REMINGTON 870 - Brownells which keeps the factory stock angle, a Hogue grip, and a Tapco stock. I went to the local gunshot and grabbed a generic M4 rubber butt pad. Works great all together.

I've got the knoxx specops stock with the recoil reduction built in...I love it...i shoot the 3.5" supermag turkey shells and it handles like a dream (beards beware)

Agreed, just put in my Knoxx recoil stock and handguard, took it out and the first shot barely had any recoil. Amazing!!!
