I converted my regular Remington 870 Express into an HD/Zombie killah. I'll post pix later.let see all the shotguns that you have put together for home defense or zombie.
That's where the pistol grip comes in handy. You can keep your grip and grab shells with the pumping hand and feed them into the magazine. Besides, if you go through 15 shots and don't have any cover or take out all the targets, you are in some real trouble. Plus I keep the slugs on the buttstock as an alternative to buckshot just in case. One reason why I didnt choose the buttstock saddle was beause if you have to transition to your opposite hand....your done. none-the-less, it looks really nice!
You know what? Arg! You had to post this didn't you!!![]()

Hey, have you taken shotgun defenive course or gone shooting in 3 guns or the sort? Sometimes, they force you to shoot opposite hands and my first time out I had a buttstock saddle, it messed me up when I had to transition from left to right (imma lefty) and the shells were right in my face. I couldnt aim right and I had to guess shoot the targets. That was when I decided Imma take it off. But, if you like it its fine, its personaly preference. That's where the pistol grip comes in handy. In a match yea take the butt saddle off. For zombie hords and survival, saddle on. The more rounds you can carry the better.Hey, have you taken shotgun defenive course or gone shooting in 3 guns or the sort?
