I had posted about shotguns awhile ago , been looking at everything ..really liked the 930spx but $700 is a big purchase ....

And damn this blind squirrel got lucky and found a nut - a Mossberg 930spx with ghost ring sights for a deal ( a really good deal in my eyes $450) a fella bought it this past summer for home defense and shot it twice and realized maybe his gLOCK was better suited for his needs

930 owners please tell me how you attach a sling ?
Anybody use side saddle holsters ?

I have a single point sling on mine. The ring is from AC Tactical. I also have a side-saddle (Tacstar) but it's not a holster. It's for six additional rounds. You might want to check out MossbergOwners.com • Index page. There's a ton of information on the 930 over there.

I use the AC Tactical sling mount and the Magpul MS2 sling.

I actually ended up with 2 of them, now I need another 930 or sale the mount. I am leaning towards another 930......... :twisted:

I picked one up not so long ago put a tacstar 6 shell saddle.
Gun is very fun to shoot just make sure you clean it up first and have some clp or other lube if planning to shoot a lot.

Mossberg 930 SPX Review

I copied this for my build. I haven't had any of the bent sight post issues but despite breaking in the thing with over 100 high power slugs and then trying every load known to man I get periodic cycling issues (about 10% of shots fired). So I am going to have an Mossberg armorer buddy of mine look it over.

GG&G has front and rear sling attachment plates in fixed and QD mount for the 930. I have the fixed but am considering buying the QD for the rear so it will swivel.
