Hey all, I just bought my first shotgun. I went to Dick's Sporting Goods. They had a hunter special Mossberg 500 12ga. It comes with a rifled slug barrel and a regular smooth bore barrel. I will be using it mostly for shooting trap with.
I have shot my friends 20ga Mossberg 500. Even talked him into letting me take it home and clean it for him. Was easy to take apart and reassemble. Didn't even need the video's that I bookmarked. Any ammo that I should stay away from? Any accessories that you all suggest? I watched a video that shows how to get the hunting rod out to increase the capacity. Anything else I should know about it?
