It is time to buy a new shotgun. I am looking for a semi auto 12 ga. What is the best one to buy? I have been looking at a Winchester, Beretta, and Benalli. Are there any others that you would recommend? What is your experience with these?

Benelli Super Black Eagle II
I have a beretta AL391 Urika Trap, and I love it. It's never done me wrong.

I want to buy a Winchester Super X3, because it now holds the record for the fastest cycling action.

Benelli is an excellent brand, but is pricey.

My recommendation, Winchester SX3.

I also have a Remington 1100 Sporting 12. It has functioned flawlessly since 2002 when it was purchased.
I bought a Beretta AL390 12ga shotgun last year.
It is a lower end model, only paid $510 for it.
I've been very happy with it.
I bird hunt with it, dove, quail, and turkey.

I sold a Browning BPS that I used for 8 years and bought the Beretta.
Would love to get a Beretta A391 Xtrema2 someday.
I have three Remington 1100 12ga shotguns ranging in age from 64-years-old to brand new. They all work perfectly and, as you can probably tell, I'm a big fan of the 1100. ;)

But it all depends on what you plan to use the gun for.
If your looking for a high quality shotgun that isnt gonna kill your wallet I would go with the Winchester SX3 which is an extremly impressive shotgun that will shoot 12 shells in 1.442 seconds and now holds the new record.... not to mention that it has a duracoat finish that will never give you that cold steel feeling anytime you pick it up.... Just my two cents... I work at an outdoor store and seeing them everyday and playing with them... thats the next one I will be buying without a doubt
I got a Remington 11-87 Premier thats been good to me. Use it for clays.

I'll +1 this... My family has a 46 year old 1100 that was given to my dad when he was 17. Its a hell of a shotgun and has never failed in any way in the couple thousand rounds I've put through it.
It all depends on the application that you will use it for.

Blake.
I will mainly be using it to shoot trap and bird hunt.
Go with e Benelli Legacy. I have been using one for the past five years for bird hunting and sporting clay and it is by far the easiest shooting 12 ga I have. Let me know if you have any questions.... hell if you're ever in the houston area I let you shoot it. :)
Check out FN spl mark 1...it cycles fast
Beretta 3901. I saw five of them go on a trip to Argentina last year, shoot a couple thousand rounds of ammo each over the span of 4 or 5 shooting days and come back asking for more. If I wanted an autoloader for clays or birds, that's what I'd buy.
wish I still had my GTO but I still have my 1100 rem
Get a Saiga 12 .........
Get a Saiga 12, even if you don't want it. You could probably resell it for more.

Saigas are making themselves known in 3-gun now

I use a Browning Gold Hunter 3.5, synthetic stock. I compete in sporting clays, goose hunt, duck hunt, phesants, dove, you name it. One gun does it all. For my own torture test I shot 1200 rounds of sporting clay loads without cleaning it and had zero problems.
I bought a Baikal MP153 last year. 12 guage semi-auto. I use it for some skeet and dove hunting. I love this gun. 500 rounds and no failures. Bought it at a local gun shop for $390 brand new. I have been through several shotguns and I am going to hang on to this one for a while:D
