I went to the local gun show this weekend and something happened to follow me home. I came across a Saiga 20gauge for sale. The guy had it listed for $385. I thought that's a decent deal & asked for a out the door price on it. He lowered it to $325 + tax. Not sure he understood otd pricing. Anyway I think I got a good deal on it. Everything I can find on the web these things are insanely priced. $600 and up, are you kidding me.
I got the 19" barrel, fixed sights and fixed choke. Guessing a full, haven't mic'd it yet to find out. It's a EAA import so that tells me this guy had it for awhile. Believe that RAA took over in 2005.
I have absolutely no idea what I bought it for other than it seemed like a deal. I know a guy who has been wanting one for awhile now but wouldn't spend asking prices for one. Thinking I'll most likely sell it and make a little for my troubles.

You bought it to CONVERT IT! =)

Really you should. Start lurking on the Saiga 12 forums and you'll quickly see what I mean. It's easy, I did a Saiga 12 in my bedroom with a power drill. forum.Saiga-12.com

I'd say you got a good deal, but it's not normally $600 by far. Not for the unconverted, factory new 20 gauge.
Actually I have to keep it now. The guy that I was going to sell it to bought one this weekend also. He paid $640 for it & yeah around here they are that damn much. So, converting it does sound like a good idea. I think I will.

Oh, and everyone else complaining about pics please stop asking. I no longer put up pics. It's just a standard 105 look it up on google images.
