Ok, got a few questions. I plan on mostly shooting skeet or trap with this gun. Is it a huge disadvantage having the shorter barrel? I have gone a few times before, and I do ok, but that is always with a 26 or possibly a 28 in barrel. Could I just use a more narrow choke and equal the accuracy of a longer barrel?

I just got a Mossberg 930. I got it new for 580 with XX turkey choke. I think I got kinda taken on the price but oh well (Dad is paying for half). Ill try to get some pics up soon, but it is a real tree pattern, 24in bbl, fiber optic sights.

24 is fine, you will get many opinions on choke.
