need help on barrel

recently i decded to hunt deer thiis year with my mossberg 500. i hit financial prblems last year and got rid of my .308. my moss5 has an 18.5' bar on it now, and i just use it for HD. I want a new barrel that can fire slugs and buckshot (if possible). if you guys could reccomend a length and bore i wuld appreciate it, i have no clue on this matter. and if i find a barrell that fits the profile for deer, will it also be worthy for bird loads?

also if you could refer me to a good web-site, i have found one but i dont even know if its legit.

If you want something that can use all the shells you are referring too. I would go with a smooth bore 24" turkey or slug barrell with rifled sights. It will shoot slugs, buckshot, and birdshot decent enough. Cabelas often carries these in their stores as well. You'll just have to search and keep your eyes peeled.

You can. But it may not pattern very well. I don't recommend it.

the barrel you currently have can fire buck and slugs...with some of the good slugs on the market now, I wouldn't advise spending the money on the rifled barrel....
