I recently purchased a Saiga 12 and converted her back to the original intended AK style configuration. I would like you all to meet, my Russian mistress, Slutvana.

How she comes:


After I was done converting and painting her:


I'll tell yah, she really puts out. I went through 125 12gauge today and loved every minute.

Hey! Nice looking Russian wench ya have there.
Nice job dressing'er up, they all come right outta da gutter stinking of cheap vodka, a lil'makeup, new clothes and some 'Lube', and they're hot to trot. :twisted:

Yep, ya gotta love their warnings about their paper :lol:
It ain't just wax paper, its impregnated with a heavy duty anti-corrosive chemical.
They make it sound like its Chernobyl radioactive waste, and already seeping into your bloodstream.

Reads something like...

WARNING
This rifle is wrapped in a corrosion inhibiting paper.
1) Do not wrap food in paper.
2) Do not store near heat or caustic chemicals.
3) Wash all parts of the body that come in contact with paper.
4) Annihilate paper after unpacking.

No really, they use the word annihilate, LOL... Hey the translation works. :razz:

I was pretty lucky, the gun shop that bought it from had already removed the paper and wiped her down for the display rack. When I got her home I gave her a nice bath in degreaser and then dolled her up for pictures.

I was lucky enough to find mine at the local gunshop. But you can find some at gun shows or through the distributor Russian American Armory: Shotguns
