I have one of the original Snake Charmers. It is a small .410. The Tamer is a little bit bigger. I do carry mine on my ATV, though we don't have poisonous snakes here. In fact I'm not really sure what it is good for other than fooling around with.

You can buy those survival stocks and turn just about any H&R/NEF single shot into a similar type shotgun or rifle.

The stock on mine is really short and basically used as a pistol It holds it's shells inside the buttplate of the stock.

I bought one of these for my mother a couple of years ago. She had a stroke about 15 years ago and her balance isn't so great anymore. I kept telling her that the 12ga. single shot was to much for her. She went out the day after she got the Tamer and shot a half a box and loved it. It didnt hurt her wrist like the 12ga. did. She is 71 now and shoots a couple a rounds once a month just to let her country neighbors know that she's still around.
