Mossberg 930SPX light install

So as I mentioned in a thread a few weeks ago I am using 2010 to upgrade my existing weapons as opposed to purchasing many new ones.

I just finished installing a light mount and remote switch on my 930SPX





The main thing is to use the screws because if you fire a lot of heavy loads or slugs the adhesive tape won't hold up. You have to trim down the screws once in so it won't interfer with the movement of the internal slide.

And here it is put back in it's home

Now some sling mounts and a sling!

Looks sweet. How's it shooting for you so far and how do you like that Nordic clamp? I've got one on order and can't wait to put it through it's paces.

I got it from Cactus Tactical, I think it was $53 shipped which isn't bad because the thing is rock solid! Very nice fit and finish too!

I like the TLR 1 light (I have a TLR 2 on my XD45 also) for the shotgun because it is light weight and unlife where you can mount a light on an AR15 back near your front hand on a rail system the SPX has the light way out by the end of the barrel. So yes you sacrafice battery life but I still have a ton of lumens for an hour and a half which is WAY more than enough for any HD encounter. (Plus who doesn't stock CR123 batteries?)

Seriously, before changing anything, get to know it as it is; after all how would you know what to mod if you haven't put it through its paces first?
