Awesome shotgun...I have been looking into picking one of those up! If you don't mind me asking, about how much did it set you back?

I had a slug barrel 930 a while back, was a nice gun. Was going to change it into what you have there, but didn't want to spend the money. I'd love to pick up the SPX for 3-gun.

Thanks for the compliments. BTW the barrel is 18.5" and Mossberg makes several other barrels that slide right on for hunting and clays.

It was 569 at the local dicks. We have a brand new one nearby and they had a 10% off anything in the store so I paid about 550 out the door.

They make several accessories for them now. Choate has pistol grip stocks similar to the benelli and longer magazines. The front sling adapter is from GG&G and was made for a 590. There are followers available and replacement Vang safeties as well. Last I checked mesa tactical had ammo sidesaddles in various lengths. It works perfectly for 3 gun.

Great looking gun but man I HATE tang mounted safeties.
