I'd recommend just getting a barrel with rifle sights.

I'm going to put rifle sights on my 500 SP and was wondering what people would suggest. I bought a ghost ring set, but it's missing the sight blade so at the very least I need a front sight to replace it.

might be a stupid question but is the rear ghost ring sight easy to install for a DIY job, the website only comments that the front sight requires no gunsmithing.?

I never stuck the ghost rings on because I realized it was missing the front sight blade. Bought it online so there wasn't much that could be done about it. There was an instruction book that was sent with it that says assembly by gunsmith recommended.

Keep us updated ... I've thought about Ghost Rings on my Mossy ... But it's a low priority.
I have italian made LPA ghost ring sights on my 930 spx. The rear is mounted on a picattiny rail. The front is red tritium. I love the picture they produce.

Wow, I like those! I don't know much about them though. How durable are the fiber optics?
As I was searching I found these...may be another option, but even though they are called big dot they don't look as big as the fiber optics.
