So I have a Mossberg Persuader that I got just afew months back and I like it alot. I do however wanna put a tri rail forend on it so I got one from mako. Ive heard people having issues installing them but love them one they get them on. I am having a very difficult time getting into to slide all the way on the slide tube, it just seems to get stuck about a 1/4 inch to short. Does anybody have link to a detailed description about how everyone is getting passed this problem?

Is the barrel slightly tapered? Have you turned it around to see if it slides on that way? Tight at the back, gap at the front . . could just need reversed. I have been looking at those tri rail forend pieces for my pistol grip 500 20 guage, will be interesting to find out how yours finally fitted.


I've been considering removing the pistol grip and adding a folding stock or one of those flip op/over stocks so I could have some shoulder shooting capabilities.
