I would doubt they would make it into the US in that configuration, unless you somehow purchase it and fill out the paperwork for it as a NFA item. To import them in any viable quantity it would need a longer barrel, and would probably have to comply with 922r, as it is definitely considered a "non-sporting" shotgun.

Doing so would probably defeat its intended purpose of having a lot of firepower in a compact package. Here's a link with some info:

my thought is that it could possibly be considered a pistol?
f that.

Gimme a Saiga 12 and 2 3/4" shells please :)

kinda... not in that incarnation

Shotgunworld.com • View topic - GB MAG-7, oh the horror (Now with pictures pg 2) They are rare and neutered for the US.
I just found one on Gunbroker:

MAG-7 M1 Shotgun Uzi Like MAG7 12 GA Not Saiga : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com

As previously stated, purpose completely defeated.
found a place that still makes them in the regular non neutered form
Techno Arms (PTY) LTD
almost. The technical specifications states the barrels are 18 inches but the ones in the videos are short barrel versions. So take the one on Gunbroker, take off the stock, and shave a little off the barrel. Might as well get a mossy persuader for half the money.
Pe of my local shops had a couple of these a while back...not the pistol form, of course, but 18" barrel & wood stock. Used non-standrad 12ga shells, and when you could find them, were unreliable as heck.

I'd rather have a coach gun.
