about to krylon my mossy 5...monday...i know its a wait but i wont be home until tomorrow and im going to do it at my dad's shop because he has the space and junk to do it. i'm thinking about doing a netting pattern with ODG and FG. tested it out on a cheap knife and zippo lighter today and it turned out 'OK'. it flaked alot in the zippo even though i washed it. im looking for some tips on degreesin, the degreeser i have access to at my dad's shop i think would be ok (small amound) but a long time friend/employee said he wouldnt trust it on metal...so im wondering what i shout use to degreeeeeese my mosssy 5??? ive heard dawn detergent or rubbing alcohol will do the trick. and i know krylon isnt a permanent fix but i want it like that, just in case it looks like crap i can remove it easily. ill put some pics up of my test subjects as soon as i figure out this stupid droid cell phone thing. till then...take it easy

the coats have held up pretty good after the first day of application. took it outside before it got to dry good and the south ga humidity made it bubble up but they went away when it dried. now all i have to do is get myself to stop "krylonin" everything i own...thinnk the xbox is next haha

Looks good, I kryloned my Mav 88 a year or so ago.
It got a few wear marks as you would expect. Unless you go over it in fine detail, you wont notice the wear.
