Been looking for a good gun for trap shooting (my first year). Been out 3 times so far with my Remington 870 and my cheek is paying for it, although I did 'ok' for not shooting in nearly 20 years. I got the 870 mainly for home defense so I wasn't too concerned about it then.

Anyway, today I called around and my local gun shop had a CZ Redhead Deluxe w/28" barrel in stock and I had to check it out - needless to say it came home with me over lunch hour. I have a CZ P-01 handgun that I really enjoy and shoot well with so I had some confidence in this gun, perceived or real time will tell.

Hoping I picked a good one, sure feels good and solid and fits great. Trap is tomorrow night so I'll know more then and hope to post a 'range report' Thursday, if not Wednesday night.

I got the CZ canvasback O/U. I love it! I wanted to upgrade from my stoeger for upland bird gun. I was horrible with it at first, but I'm not better at shooting with the CZ than I ever was with the Stoeger. Have fun man! I was looking at the redhead, but needed to be wise financially.
