I have buyers remorse

Ok went to a gun show, bought a rem 870 EXPRESS MAGNUM used but looking at it I'd say sub 200 rounds fired or less and not cleaned.camera is down sorry. 28" VR barrel a nicer wood stock set then I'm used to seeing on sub 800 dollar guns. One slight indention on the forestock and one half inch paper thin scratch on the buttstock. and lightening of the finish on top of the stock from what appears a gun rack in 3 penny sized circles.

got it 180 bucks out the door.

got home, got my finger stuck in the shell lifter, hadn't used the 20 gauge 870 in so long (its at my parents house, ok fired 3 rounds of slugs through it to kill a deer this year) forgot about it.

I wanted a vent rib barrel my eyes follow them better, but wishing I had gotten a maverick 88 even though they are cheaper. quality of safety doesn't matter for a fighting shotgun its never going to be put on safe.

So yeah here I am best deal ever had, and I have buyers remorse (and a scratch on my thumbs nail) Though I'll admit this is way less of an issue than it was with the 20 gauge, and the bigger safety would be much better for sporting purposes. however thats not why I made the purchase.

Don't trouble yourself....you got a good deal and if it's not what you want, just turn around and resell or trade it. You've got little enough money in it you'll come out ahead pretty much whatever you do.

a sporting shotgun was in my next ten to buy so can't be upset/trade it off for a maverick/mossberg 590
Dont worry yocan, I get buyers remorse every time I buy a gun,,, But it only lasts about 23.6 seconds!!!! Dave
I've never had that kind of remorse. Then again, I voted Ron Paul last election...
That said, your "remorse" is more easily cured than those who voted for hopenchange.

*spit*
Time will heal your pain Yocan. Hell, I bet you feel better already!
Nice deal on a 870, you will feel better soon I'm thinking.

I bought a Ar recently and am having a bit of remorse, only cuz I"m a AK guy.......One of each is agood thing, right?
Dude, you got a nice shotgun for under 200 bucks that has a bit of character on it. I wouldn't sweat it.

well its a start. Ideally you need as many of each as possible. Multiple variants, etc.
Great Deal and a long term investment.
It will hold it's value and serve you well over the years.
