stopped by the local pawn to cruse through and found a mossberg 500a police 18.5 with wood furniture in good condition for $155.00. After dealing them down from 200 I think this will be the go to for HD in the Rev. house.

Now i just need a ton of test ammo and a free day to decide between 00 and #1

Love that gun and for 155.00! As per 00# or 1# shot read somewhere those really penetrate through two layers of dry wall, if this is home defense and you have kids. I've tried 6# on drywall and it don't penetrate through two layers.
