MAX on ShotgunWorld.com is the original maker. Mossberg has taken notice and in the 2010 catalog they have an optional knurled knob.
Thanks, he never responded to some emails I sent him. I couldn't find the new handle on the mossberg website, I'll have to call them.

I know Chote makes one but it doesn't look that great.

I'm undecided between the NOB and what Mossberg is coming out with.

That knurled finish sure looks like it would keep my fingers from slipping off by accident. With any luck the SPX heatshield will be out at the same time.

I called to order and they said their 2010 stuff won't be available until the end of March. I think I'll pick one up and see how it goes.

Well I suck at waiting so I got this one for the time being:

Its the Choate one, we'll see how it goes. I've decided this year to buy no new guns (Except the Ruger 10/22 Target Tactical with Leupold scope I picked up Friday) so I can concentrate on upgrading what I have and just plain playing around with different set ups to learn more about how different mods effect the handling.

I just put in a heavier buff tube in my AR and I definitely noticed a difference in recoil! Should be a fun year!
