Here in Michigan, we are getting some beautiful warm weather, 56 to 60 degrees, sunny skies, the west wind is moderate every day except when our gun clubs are open.
On the weekends the wind is out of the north at 18-mph, over-cast, and 36 to 38 degrees.
Bummer. Mike

Shot a different club this afternoon; back to the first club tomorrow with folks who weren't there Thursday - that major Southern storm is due in Saturday night to Sunday afternon

We've got roughly the same wind, plus the storms that went through St. Louis yesterday have arrived here. Windy and rain is the forecast for the whole day today.

You must be a fair weather shooter? Better stay away from Winter leagues!
Suck it up and learn to shoot in all conditions!
And instead of wearing that skirt put some jeans on so your legs don't get so cold :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I shoot two winter leagues every year in Michigan and two events at both clubs.
I have been shooting all clays for 68 years in all conditions, in Michigan.

Shot Scrap for the first time with friends; shot 3 rounds and won all three - thanks to some AA 1-1/8 1250 7.5 and a IM choke; was never a trap fiend, but that was fun. The hardest part was making sure I followed the person in front of me, even when I was ahead of him..............good fun and as I looking to buy a friend's 870 LH with a 30" fixed full choke, this could be fun

The wind is really tricky here, I have literally watched a target rise or drop 4 feet, I really hate when you squeeze the trigger and the target goes up, down, left or right the exact time you shoot.

Don't know where, but there must have been a really good sale on Federal HOA shells, I have been picking them up by the 100's at the club, my wife picked up 275 yesterday, the group of younger (at least younger to me) in front of us was shooting them, never bothered to pick them up.

I don't have a 28 Ga, So I have never really looked in the manual for 28 Ga data, 12, 16, and 20 are all I shoot.

Well remember that I shoot mainly registered SC’s and there aren’t any small bore targets where I shoot. So 12 ga. W/maybe a smattering of 20 ga shooters is the norm around here, now on the off days there is a senior guy that we shoot with that shoots a .410 or 28 ga., he doesn’t do registered events.
