Sabots arent really for target shooting...your shoulder will tell you that.

If you want to shoot sabots/slugs for target/plinking/fun just use the regular barrel and shoot cheap slugs.

Otherwise if you want to site your barrel in i think your going to have to spend the $$ and buy some sabots.

But its really not my idea of fun being abused by sabots out of a 12ga pump!

Well it is a pretty powerful round. I just hope my shoulder will hold up. Just wanted to get some cheap ones to shoot out in the yard, Don't want to break the bank having fun. When it comes to hunting though I show no holding back and get the good stuff!

Here's the thing.

Those cheap sabots you want to practice with? They aren't going to have the same POI as the premium sabots you want to hunt with.

Just shoot regular rifled or foster-type slugs out of your barrel, and be certain to clean your bore well after shooting them. Cheaper, and just as fun.
