Wow! Look real sweet! I love the muzzle porting. I do know that FN has a great rep for makeing great weapons. I wouldn't be very afraid to buy one and see for myself.
I don't know anything about the gun, but FN does make quality stuff. Looking at it, I don't like the stock and sights, especially the stock. That's just personal preference though. side note. i was looking at getting one a few months back, but for the time being i think i am going to build my remmy 870 super mag express.

in terms of input its based on a winchester design. I think the 1300 if i remember correctly. FNH owns winchester and browning ... so some of the stuff is cross branded, like they sell FN highpowers 9mm as well as the browning highpower.
this is a winchester action, with some neat tacticool doodads, and if you add it all up, its quite a great value.
FN doesnt mess around, they make great guns.
Even though i have a 870, i still want this FN.
1/2 of me wants to keep the 870 traditional as my hunting rifle, then buy the FN as my HD shotty.

Bud's had a good price on it, but no telling when that last one sold. I've dealt with them before and would buy one from them in a heartbeat if they had one. Gunbroker is getting from 7-8 hundred bucks plus shipping. As for accessories...I want an optical sight, sling and probably a light. I really need this thing. I've got some vicious squirrels out back.

cant say for sure, i would say december maybe was wheni was looking at them, dec or january.
I found out why the one you saw at Buds was so much cheaper. It has a fixed choke. The ones with the internal threads and the two chokes are around $730. Moot point anyway, since they are out of stock. I'm still looking.
