Seems to be a great little shotgun. Stock makes it a little heavy but seems well built. Upon unboxing it was covered in a thick protective grease. A quick field strip, tons of degreaser, a little scrubbing power and about 20 minutes later had it ready to be reassembled and properly lubricated. Installed a Rem 870 side saddle and cut the stock forearm to allow for the sidesaddle.

That looks perfectly simple and effective. Just the way a pump shotgun should be. I don't know much about H&R shotguns, but they are sure priced reasonably. Congrats!!

This gun purchase was bitter sweet. The day after picking it up the store Express Police Supply in KS went out of business. Apparently Enterprise Bank refused to continue their loan/credit and were forced to close their doors unexpectedly.

I have that exact shotgun. Very good gun for a very good price. Anything that fits an 870 Remy will fit this gun except the remington barrel.

for the price, they seem to be very serviceable shotguns.

They are great, mine has a lot of rounds down range and it runs like a champ.
