Mrs. One Eye has put about 2-3000 rounds through her CZ- SCTP O/U shot gun.
Yesterday while cleaning the chokes I noticed that the inside were badly scarred.
CZ uses Beretta/Benelli Mobil chokes for their guns.
I thought this very strange because I have never worn out a set of chokes nor has she.
We shoot strictly lead shot and the barrels of the gun are in perfect condition.
I ordered a new set of Carlson chokes and installed them.
Any thoughts on why the chokes scarred ?

The threading is Beretta Mobil choke.
Not sure if they're manufactured by Beretta/Benelli.

Good question... A close neighbor who shoots a lot of the big Trap tourneys gave us a flat of his reloads.
She shot about 100 rounds and broke everything oin sight.

Reclaimed can have steel in them so that is one possibility; another is this - are you sure it is scarring and not just heavy plastic residue? I have seen some plastic wad residue that looked like scarring - until some Shooter's Choice and a brush in a cordless drill removed it

I agree with oneounceload. The chances or it actually being a scarring of the tubes is remote. Use a drill as he indicates and I would add, use some Brake Clean on that CT.
