So right now slugs are very hard to come by and grossly overpriced I was at a gun show with a buddy and sitting on a table was a 12 gauge shotgun slug mold. I thought to myself bird shots cheap I'm a plumber and I have plenty of lead is it possible to convert birdshot two slugs I thought. So I had to buy some new wads and I made some slugs. I don't know if I should fire these off if it's a bad idea somebody let me know but I made two or three as of now. There is a very slight bulge in the shell.

Are they going in a break action? The top of the shell doesn't look like it has enough roundness for feeding from a magazine. Did you just empty out the shot, melt it into a lsug and reinsert or?? Did you follow any specific recipes?

If it fit the chamber you are GTG. Another one can make a sorta slug is to open a birdshot shell and pour the shot full of melted candle wax. Let harden and shoot. I don't know if thi increases pressures any or not.
