Bushnell Banner Dusk and Dawn Scope

Someone gave me a 3-9x50mm yesterday and it looks like the inside of the objective lens needs to be cleaned. The lens will unscrew out of the bell housing, but it is a nitrogen filled tube. (TBH it looks like someone already tried to clean the inside of it...) the image isn't very clear at 9x, and when I focus the eyepiece to clear the image, the reticles becomes so blurry i can't see them. any suggestions on what to do with it or how to clean it?

Send it back to Bushnell and have them replace it. They have a lifetime warranty. No sense in messing with it when it's free.

Yes-- I agree. I have a Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn 3x9 40mm on a .243 bolt rifle and it has been a great scope for the money. I personally don`t know how to disassemble one or even if I would attempt it.
I have one on a .243, and one on a .270. Like them a lot! I prefer the old Jap-made scopes, but the D/d Bushnells have been good.
