Briley thin wall chokes

Can you shoot steel shot through Briley thin wall chokes, without damaging them?

Hi Hawken,

Since no one has replied, I will jump in. In the case of the standard thin walls the answer is no. They are marked for lead only. Briley sells up graded ones that are can be used with steel and are so marked. The down side is the addtional cost. I had my "72" vintage 12 ga.Superposed converted to thin walls so I could continue to use it with steel shot.
