Well never mind lol I just did a google on it. I dont think its worth much is it garbage? seems like it would get the job done if I couldnt get to my other pieces
Give it to the jack russell. I think he already claimed it anyway.
LOL that is probably the first time I got her in a picture sitting still that dog is balls to wall 24/7. God I wish I had her energy lol

What they say about jack russells are very true they are xtremely hyper active
I've had one since I was 13, kicks like a mule but is great fun with birdshot. For $50 you got a great deal. Never had a problem with mine.
Haven't seen one of those since about 1992-ish when my buddy got one for Christmas, we had fun with it on his grandparent's farm. We were 12 and climbed on the roof of the house to blast the hell out of birds, fun times. Big-5 used to carry them back then.

It's definitely not garbage.

Those are fine single-shots, with many redeeming qualities.
Cool, get it to the range and let us know how it fires!
Nothing fancy but nothing wrong with it either, especially for 50 bucks. I kind of have my eyes open for a slug gun like that in 20. My son saw one like that at the range last Nov. and decided he liked it.
H&R & NEF are the same company and they still make that shotgun and a lot of others. Fine shotgun for the purpose. They are around $100 new. I bought a 20ga years ago and cut the barrel and stock down to just over legal. It made a great little walking in the woods snake gun.
The NEF Handirifles and slug guns are very popular. You did fine. Enjoy!
I just bought a pump NEF. the pardner pump protector. Its a clone of the Rem 870. Some say its better in many ways. Just doesnt have the famous name
I have the exact same single shot.
I picked it up at the gun shop about 15 years
ago "used" but it had never been fired, and was still in the
factory box. I paid $80 back then.

I got mine because it was a copy of the shotgun I learned on. Great fun, but it does kick like a mule.
Can't beat the price!

Cheers!

John
