So i recently bought this Baikal MP153 semi-auto 3.5" chamber from a flea market in town.I paid 270.00 for it and have never heard of a Baikal but from what i have read online this seems to be a dam good deal and a really nice shotgun! so is there anyone out there who has one or knows about Baikal that could shed a bit of light on it for me?

This is definitely a delayed response, but I have a MP220 SxS in 12 Ga. and really like it. A gunsmith friend of mine, who works mainly shotguns and rifles, said that Baikal O/U's and SxS's are about the best value you can get, and they are built tough for haevy duty use. The walnut stock is especially nice on mine.
