A challenge to my fellow forum members
There is a subject looming that I haven't seen discussed here much yet. That is the possability of some new and possably devestating new gun laws being imposed on us very soon.
I suppose most of our shotguns will be exempt, but I wouldn't count on it. And I would imagine most of our members have other guns that will most definately be targeted by these new laws.
We need to do whatever we can to stand up NOW for our 2nd ammendment rights, or the word liberty is going to end up being a word you only see in the dictionary.
I have a challenge I would like to present to you folks. I have done this on a couple of the other gun forums as well:
MY CHALLENGE TO MY FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS IS TO ENROLL AT LEAST ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE NRA, OR ONE OF THE OTHER PRO 2ND AMMENDMENT GROUPS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, AND POST IT HERE.
I enrolled my stepson this afternoon into the NRA. I did it thru Bass Peo Shops website. The membership was $25, and you will get a $25 gift card from Bass Pro. There are other websites with similar promotions as well.
PLEASE folks, this is important. I know times are tough, and money is hard to come by. Also, I know some of you have bones to pick with NRA, but we MUST stand up NOW, or our rights will begin to tumble like dominoes. It is onyl $25, and may just be the best money you ever spent.

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen any takers on my challenge. Come on folks. Let's start putting our money where our mouth is, or we'll be bird hunting and shooting clays with a slingshot. STAND UP!!

I'm attending the Olympia, WA State Capitol campus Black Rifle protest day today, starts at 11 am Saturday the 19th)
If you come, bring a shouldered, hated and feared, to be banned gun, locked open with no loaded mag inserted (You can have loaded mags, just not in the long gun, state patrol is GTG for this)

Thanks blitzkrieg, for doing that. Let us know how things go. I wanted to attend the pro gun rally in Raleigh today, but I had to work. Some of us in my local gun club are going to one there on Feb 5 though.

I attended with my lovely wife, I carried her AR15 and my PTR 91 cross strapped, wore a 1775 Revolution era tricorn hat and sported two Don't Tread on Me flags. IMO there were 4,000 of us and it was an amazing and encouraging event.. do not believe the lame mainslime media reports, these were HUGE record rallies and the honks and waves on Capitol St were outstanding!
