870 says tactical but 18" not 18 1/2" barrel

Just took my new remington 870 out of the box and on the receiver are these words: Remington 870 tactical. However, it has an 18" not 18 1/2" barrel; only a bead site; looks to be powder coated gray, and although a 7 rd, the barrel is about an inch longer than the mag tube. Also, the front sling swivel come off the end of the mag cap. So, have I a tactical model or not, even though it says it is. Thanks.
