Well,

I ordered a Mossy 500 Field .410. For some reason I just wanted a .410.

Go figure.

410 is all I use for small game hunting. 410 also has a better buckshot selection than 20 gauge.

The Federal 3" #4 buck has 9 pellets and has a nice tight pattern from a shotgun. Nobel sport also makes a 3 pellet load with .400" balls that hits real hard.

Picked it up a little while ago.

Cabelas had a sale on 000 2.5 inch shells, ordered a case. I'll look for some #4 shot.

I wouldn't mind putting a scope on it (I have an old one on my Mossy 500 20 ga).

Just a mistatement.

LMAO, my wife wanted to try just racking my shotguns for the first time EVER, and has suddenly decided she likes the 410.

She didn't like my 20 ga, a little too & big, long trigger reach.

Maybe if I'm good I'll get to use the 410.

Funny thing is, until 2 yrs ago, she never fired a gun. Now she's a range nut.
