I've never been before, but I'd sure like to make it out there one of these days. I've heard nothing but great things about it!
2013 Shot Show
I am thinking about heading out to the Shot Show this year to check it out. I have never been to it before. Anyone else going or have been before with any recommendations?

I went last year and it was a great time! I highly recommend going if you can. Take a bib though because you will be drooling all day

Well I guess you have a point there....you have a couple of months to ask around at the local gun shops and other gun places you haunt and inquire if there's any way you can get in to see the show. I have a friend who went a few years ago when the show was in Orlando and I'll ask him how he got in. arg0naut - I checked with my friend about how to get into the SHOT show and it looks like you'll have to endear yourself to someone who has industry connections and can get you credentials. My friend used to own a sporting goods business up north and that's how he got in at the last SHOT show in Orlando. He said it's worth the effort - you will not believe what you see there!

Even if it takes a few bottles older than that it would be worth it from what I hear. My friend who attended in Orlando a few years ago said he'd never seen anything like it and he's a very knowledgeable long-time gun enthusiast/hunter/sporting clays guy.
I hope the show comes back to Orlando soon so I can try to weasle my way in somehow.

Well the firearms press also gets invited so perhaps you Administrator guys can swing it on that basis. And if you do, you know who deserves the credit... perhaps in the form of an invite....
