For some reason, the New Era is not mentioned in my standard catalog.

Gunbroker has a New Era Nitro Damascus on it for $900, bit no bites.

Pricing off of a Baker Batavia Damascus, which seems to be similar to yours, the price would fall in the 7-800 range.

And, it's not quite true that using smokeless shells in a damascus gun will result in a blow up; light trap loads tend to be fine. The fact that this one was made in 1923 will help; the metallurgy will be a bit better than something made in the 19th century.

I wouldn't put a slug, or a heavy buckshot load through it, though.
