Old Western White Flyer electric trap thrower

We have a Western White Flyer Electric Trap V1524C1 (?) model X made in 1972. Used it a few times, but it is a heavy thing and someone has to be there to put a clay in.

I love the way it throws, but it would be too costly to buy parts to stack clays.

So now that it's been sitting around for several years, we want to get rid of it.. best way I can see is to part it out.. both of us have already injured our backs just getting it out of the trailer it was in.

Do you think there is a market for parts if I strip it and list different parts? It ran fine before we put it away.. I'd plug it in and test it, but a lot of oil came out and squirrels were playing around it. If I part it out, no issues if the wiring is bad because it won't consist of the wiring... and probably won't part out the motor. The X400 release has been in the cellar so out of harms way.

No one interested in it around here.. too much cost to try to ship it out anywhere.

call 'western retro.' they buy old machines.
btw...you have whats known as a western hand trap. they make a kit to convert them to 350 birds on a turret and a wobble option.

oh well.
looks like you got a lead sled!
issue with parting it out is....w.retro is about the only one who would buy the parts!
fyi...you got about a 200.00 machine. weight and shipping makes it a lose lose deal.
heck, hit the gun forums and put an ad in.
start here.
good luck.

That was the only problem with it... I loved the fact it threw clays differently each time.
