That's some pretty expensive charcoal case color hardening; in person, they look much better.

just me....but case coloring belongs on guns from the 1900's circa. case coloring a k gun is like putting an above hood working radiator cap on a 2016 bmw.

I like case hardening on my Hawkins. Not particularly on my shotguns, but that's just personal taste.

That piece of walnut up there is unbelievable! Love that.

I believe that is the Beretta 391 Teknys model with what I think is an AnglePort bolt extended release. I just did a Google for US flag shotgun stock, images............

30" barrel. Pattern and adjust to as close to 70/30 as possible. Replace bead if needed. Possible recoil reducer. There could be several other things to make it more suitable for the user.

do you refinish a hammer handle? or wax a skilsaw after use? its a tool. the more money you dump in it, the more careful you become worrying about it and you get distracted. but with that said, wood deserves a wood finish. do it right.
