Cleaning the Action Question

Shooting skeet 4-6 times per month, 50 rounds per event, how often should I disassemble the action & clean the trigger assembly & associated components?

Right now I only clean the barrels & connection points on my Berretta 686.

When you get to 20-35K, start to think abut disassembling the gun to that degree. Keep things cleaned, properly lubed (including choke tubes) and you'll be GTG
RKB and 737Pete like this.

I used to clean my Maxus every year. But I gotta tell you it was barely dirty at the first 1000rounds . My grandad shot 1187 for years and never once took the trigger mechanism out to clean it. He went to the “ don’t touch it if it’s working” school.
