Looking at Sauer&Sohn Sterling Skeet 12 ga. 28" tula skeet choked

I've got my eyes on a supposedly new J.P.Sauer & Sohn Sterling Skeet
12 gauge 28" barrels with fixed Skeet Tula chokes.
The gun is absolutely beautiful (in my opinion!) and I have always
been intrigued by unusual style guns. I just wanted to know
if anybody has knowledge or experience with this shotgun.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

The gun is made for Sauer by Guerini in Italy. With Guerini's reputation for quality - and J.P. Sauer's quality also - I'd be amazed if there were any problems with this gun.
One thing, though - you are getting a single-purpose gun. With the Tula chokes, you won't be putting screw-in chokes in it if you want to try a different game. Tula's do pattern nicely though, my M32 Krieghoff has Tula skeet chokes and it patterns beautifully and just smashes targets (when the nut that holds the stock does his job!).

Thanks for the quick reply with good info.
Since all I usually shoot is skeet, the no choke tubes
situation won't be a problem. I also have a
Browning GTI with Briley companion 20 & 28 ga.
tubes, which I can use if a chance to shoot sporting clays
happens to come up!
